NEW YORK — A new music video featuring a young, all-American boy (played by rapper and musician The Chainsms) and a refrain from a song from his debut album, All-American, was released Tuesday.
The video, entitled “All-A-Boy,” features a boy who has a knack for playing with all-white children and is called “The Black Boy.”
“All-America Boy” is a reference to the all-black All-Americans of the 1800s.
“He has an all- American look, he has an American smile,” Chainsmoker said in a statement.
The song “Don’t Start Me Now” was written by the rapper and was written about his mother’s struggle with bipolar disorder.
The Chainsmokes also revealed that they will be touring the country next year.
In a new video for the song, Chainsmoke says, “If you’re in New York, just come and visit me.
I’ll take you anywhere in the world.”
